The NECA Convention & Trade Show 2025 was a huge success, bringing thousands of electrical contractors, tech leaders, and innovators to McCormick Place in Chicago from September 12–15.
The buzz this year was all about how Electrical BIM and prefabrication are tackling the industry’s biggest headaches: the labor shortage, crazy productivity demands, and keeping quality high. Essentially, the show highlighted how these new digital tools are completely changing how we design and install electrical systems.

At Booth #2020, Muhamed Zekic (Managing Partner), Emir Zekic (Engineering Manager & Partner), Tonio Carideo (Partner Success Manager), and Gustavo Soto (Business Development) represented Eracore.
Our team met with contractors, design partners, and technology leaders right at our booth.
The main thing we showed them was how Eracore’s BIM tools can help electrical teams get from the first design drafts (the “redlines”) to a finished, ready-to-build plan much faster.
We had a lot of interest from everyone, both the established contractors and the newer companies that are looking for better ways to handle their coordination and prefabrication work.
